monday.com integration

In short

Query boards and items, and create or update items. Connect it on the Integrations page; your app then calls monday.com through Sapilon without ever holding a monday.com credential.

Lets your app read boards, groups and items and create or update items and updates through monday.com’s GraphQL API, as the person whose API token you use.

Connecting

On the Integrations page choose Connect on monday.com and fill in:

  • Personal API token — monday.com → your avatar → Developers → My access tokens → Show.

Sapilon checks the key with the provider before it saves it, and stores it encrypted; it is never shown again.

  • The app acts as you: use a shared account for anything long-lived.

What your app can do

Only these requests are available; anything else is refused.

  • POST /v2

How the agent uses it

Use integrations.request('monday', …). Everything is one GraphQL endpoint, POST /v2 on https://api.monday.com, with body: { query, variables }.

  • Read: { method: 'POST', path: '/v2', body: { query: '{ boards(ids: [123]) { name items_page(limit: 50) { items { id name column_values { id text } } } } }' } }.
  • Create: body: { query: 'mutation($b: ID!, $n: String!) { create_item(board_id: $b, item_name: $n) { id } }', variables: { b: 123, n: 'Call back' } }.
  • Update a column: change_simple_column_value(board_id, item_id, column_id, value); comment: create_update(item_id, body).

Errors can come back with HTTP 200 in body.errors — check it. Queries cost complexity points; ask only for the fields you use.
