Brex integration

In short

Read card and cash transactions, accounts, expenses and users. Connect it on the Integrations page; your app then calls Brex through Sapilon without ever holding a Brex credential.

Lets your app read Brex card and cash accounts, their transactions, expenses with receipts, cards and users. It cannot move money.

Connecting

On the Integrations page choose Connect on Brex and fill in:

  • User token — Brex → Developer → Create token, with read-only access to transactions, accounts, expenses and users.

Sapilon checks the key with the provider before it saves it, and stores it encrypted; it is never shown again.

  • Brex user tokens expire after 90 days without use: reconnect when it turns Needs reconnecting.

What your app can do

Only these requests are available; anything else is refused.

  • GET /v2/users/me
  • GET /v2/users
  • GET /v2/cards
  • GET /v2/accounts/card
  • GET /v2/accounts/cash
  • GET /v2/transactions/card/primary
  • GET /v2/transactions/cash/*
  • GET /v1/expenses
  • GET /v1/expenses/*

How the agent uses it

Use integrations.request('brex', …); paths are relative to https://platform.brexapis.com.

  • GET /v2/accounts/card, GET /v2/accounts/cash — balances.
  • GET /v2/transactions/card/primary — Example: { method: 'GET', path: '/v2/transactions/card/primary', query: { posted_at_start: '2026-10-01T00:00:00Z', limit: '100' } }. GET /v2/transactions/cash/{accountId}.
  • GET /v1/expenses (query: { 'expand[]': 'receipts' }), GET /v1/expenses/{id}.
  • GET /v2/users, GET /v2/users/me, GET /v2/cards.

Amounts are { amount, currency } in cents. Pages continue with next_cursor → query: { cursor }. Read-only.
