ClickUp integration

In short

Read spaces and lists, and create, update and comment on tasks. Connect it on the Integrations page; your app then calls ClickUp through Sapilon without ever holding a ClickUp credential.

Lets your app browse workspaces, spaces, folders and lists, read and create tasks, update them and add comments, as the person whose API token you use.

Connecting

On the Integrations page choose Connect on ClickUp and fill in:

  • Personal API token — ClickUp → Settings → Apps → API Token → Generate.

Sapilon checks the key with the provider before it saves it, and stores it encrypted; it is never shown again.

  • The app acts as you: use a shared account for anything long-lived.

What your app can do

Only these requests are available; anything else is refused.

  • GET /team
  • GET /team/*/space
  • GET /space/*/folder
  • GET /space/*/list
  • GET /folder/*/list
  • GET|POST /list/*/task
  • GET|PUT /task/*
  • GET|POST /task/*/comment

How the agent uses it

Use integrations.request('clickup', …); paths are relative to https://api.clickup.com/api/v2. ClickUp calls workspaces “teams”.

  • GET /team — workspaces. GET /team/{teamId}/space — spaces.
  • GET /space/{spaceId}/folder, GET /space/{spaceId}/list, GET /folder/{folderId}/list — the hierarchy.
  • GET|POST /list/{listId}/task — Example: { method: 'POST', path: '/list/901/task', body: { name: 'Call back', due_date: 1760954400000 } } (due dates are epoch ms).
  • GET|PUT /task/{taskId} — Example: { method: 'PUT', path: '/task/86a', body: { status: 'complete' } }.
  • GET|POST /task/{taskId}/comment — Example: { method: 'POST', path: '/task/86a/comment', body: { comment_text: 'Done' } }.

Deleting is not allowed.
